I sold off some tanks and kept one LP85 for shore or bridge diving. I am now
thinking I should have kept at least two but my other steel was not an LP85.
If I could find a 2005 or newer tank possibly with a convertible valve I might want
to buy a matching tank. I don't want to mess with shipping and thought maybe
someone in south florida might have something like this.

Hi,
Can't help with the LP85. I wanted to let you know if you had plans of doubling them up, make sure they are the same length. I had to buy another lp85 so that I could make up a set of doubles.
Worthington cylinders are sometimes as much as 1/2" shorter that the same cylinder from another batch.

Jim, thanks for that info. I don't plan on doubling these at this time, just a second
tank when diving charters. If I end up buying new I'll watch the dimensions and get
as close as possible in case I ever do double these. Buying used I probably wont get
a chance to be as selective, thanks again.
