Newport ocean conditions - Which to use??

The site I use to look marine weather conditions for Jamestown area (Beavertail, Ft. Wetherill..) shows conditions for RI Sound and Narragansett Bay. Both give completely different readings. Want to know which would use to check marine conditions. Either way, conditions are not looking good for this weekend!

Id use RI Sound conditions and then subtract a foot or two from the wave heights. Newport is always calm it seems on reports and yesterday was such a report only to have stiff S. Wind into the coves causing a lot of chop.

Its all dependent on the swell and wind directions. If from the south go with RI sound and from the North go with Newport.
