While I would agree with Scott that the 16/fisheye and 16-50 zoom are a cost effective way to go both lenses get quite poor reviews out of the water and are even worse as MP increase and with the add on fisheye or closeup lens.
On the high end the Ziess 12 and 24 are stellar, the 10-18 Jack spoke of is about the best all round W/A choice and as of yet no good macro has been released unless you want to go with a DSLR lens in a custom port. I like the 30 macro but it has limitations in both IQ and usefulness. You may as well use the kit lens with a closeup lens like the Inon or ReefNet lenses.
