How old/new is the camera? And waht is the L bracket. I have a insurance check comming this week to replace my d100. Does your camera come with the 18-70 lens also? let me know i might be interested.

The camera was purchased on 05/26/2005.

Kit lens is not included.

The L-Bracket is a machined piece that wraps around the left side of the camera for a quick release tripod mount to any Arc-Swiss compatable ball-head in either the portrait or landscape orientation.

You can more info on ball heads and brackets here:

Also of note. A friend of mine wants to trade me his D70 for my D70s + some cash.

So if you'd rather save some money and go with a regular D70 body (no bracket). The cost would be $650.
