It is has been a constant point of discussion about the steps being slippery at Madison and people falling with gear on. The NFSA has purchased a product called Handitreads to be installed on both sets of steps at Madison which will give grip and reduce the chance of falls. We have seen this product installed at Jug Hole and it seems to work very well. Unfortunately it is a very expensive item to purchase, and anybody interested in making a donation to help defray cost, there is a paypal icon on www.northfloridaspringsalliance.org web site. Thank you,and enjoy.
