I usually do the mask box thing too. If I'm on a liveaboard or a larger boat with a good camera table, lots of people just put them there.

This isn't limited to people with prescription lenses, lots of people just want a place to put sunglasses.

Jon-boi:
Hi folks,

What do people do with their glasses during a dive....?

I've been lucky enough on boat dives that there's been a safe place set aside by captain or crew for divers' glasses. on shore dives, if no one's watching the gear on shore, i 've stashed the good pair in the car and have a pair of cheap ones that i stick in the bc pocket, with the idea that if i lose my mask (w/prescription lenses) during the dive then i can use the glasses at the surface to see. haven't had to try this theory out yet, hope i never have to.
