It seems there’s BCD while they trying to move him, final laying down position there’s a steel second stage? On his right shoulder and his wet suit is Mares brand. A scuba diver? According to the posts in documenting this video is quite new

NSFL = “Not safe for life” in case that wasn’t evident
 
This may be a hoax.

Added:
The global shark attack data base only shows 12 shark attacks in or near Ecuadorian waters since 1941.
One was fatal, in 1941, from a ditched aircraft.

I'm seriously skeptical.
