O ring maintenance on Ikelite housings?

I have seen a lot of useful information here on 'O' ring maintenance and such for Oly housings, but what about the Ikelite cases? I have an Ikelite housing for my venerable C5050, and although it has worked flawlessly so far with soakings in freshwater and wiping off (and the usual care of the main O ring), now I am wondering if I should get a little more aggressive. Any thoughts on this? Woody
