Oahu Diving - Question for Local Crowd

I will be transiting through Oahu on November 3rd and was planning on staying a few days. My wife and usual open water teammate is preggers. So, this is mainly a land based trip but I am planning on getting in one day of diving sometime between the 4th - 6th. I would greatly appreciate recommendations on which operation and site would be best. I am just looking for a good open water dive but will be bringing some gear back for cavediving in Mexico so I am up for anything.

If there are any local divers that would like to meet up for a dive, I would welcome that as well. In scanning this part of the list I noticed a few of you are DIR or have an interest. I would be happy to provide some pointers to those with an interest in DIR if they wanted to meet up for a dive.

IDH (Island Divers Hawaii) can hook you up with some wreck dives.. their staff is awesome!

AND.. a couple of their instructors were just down in MEXICO at the Carwash.
Matt Zimmerman, and Joakim Hjelm.. in fact Jo is a Tri-mix/Tech instructor.. and he organizes deep dives (150+) regularly..

IDH is also the local Halcyon shop.. if you need any new toys.

Check out AAA diving. I can show you some shore diving but you will prolly chringe when you see how non DIR I am.

Island Divers is the DIR friendly shop on the Island. Both Jo and Matt have some GUE training.
