Sea Save Foundation is an official Shark Week Partner. As this shark-athon amps up, new policies at Discovery have discontinued all "mockumentaries"! Whoot! Whoot! Whoot! ‪#‎RealSharksAretheCoolest‬http://www.discovery.com/tv-s…/shark-week/partners/partners/

My condolences. I will probably never watch another shark week. Or the "discovery" channel, for that matter. I hope that you can help raise the bar, but shark week was inane even before the mocumentaries.

I've heard "Shark Week" make similar promises before with pretty minimal results. I hope this time they actually portray sharks in a true light instead of a lot of the cr@p they've presented in the past. I've had several acquaintances who have worked with them in the past and say they wouldn't do so again. I'd like to see REAL documentaries on Discovery, National Geo, etc again for a chance... truly real portrayals that are actually educational.
