I bought a pair of digital depth guages in 1992. There is a rainbow color stripe on face with three metal contacts on them. The batteries are dead but it looks like the unit is sealed. Is there a way to fix or update these or am I screwed? I use to dive a lot in the early and mid 90s. Just got recertified and the dive shop reworked all the regulators, but were sure on what to do wth the digital device. These is no model number on them. Is there a replacement incert I can use because it sits between my compass and air guage. Will look kind of stupid with an open hole in the unit. Any thoughts?
