How is the quality of Olympus housing (PT-EP11)? Is it reliable? I have a chance to buy a set of M1 camera with housing at good price but don't know about Olympus housing.

Thanks

I've got about 100 dives on mine with no issues. Some of my diving involves rough entries and exits, so it's been banged against rocks, me, etc. I have no problems recommending it.

Have had mine for almost 2 years without any issues. Good value for money housing. Just be sure to follow the loading instructions and remove the rubber eye piece on the camera before putting it in the housing. No one has been able to give a reasonable answer for why this must be done as it does not impede the closing of the door, but there was one report of a leak and the owner said they had not removed it as recommended. Also, due to limited internal space there is no room for a commercially made leak detector. I made mine from the circuit board from a $2.00 flashing bicycle tail light and managed to mount it where the moisture absorber goes at the bottom of the housing. Enjoy.
