When I first started diving a wing I used the IQ pack (because I wanted something "similar" to a BCD). I dived it with a SS plate and STA. After a couple of years I switched to the Comfort harness which I did not like and within a few weeks went all the way to a simple (Hogarthian) style harness to which I have now, 2 years later added a single break point on the left side.
I now think that both the IQ and comfort harness are needlessly cumbersome and are more expensive than the simpler BP sysem I now use. I no longer use the STA.
