Anybody know the ramifications of converting an oxygen tank to a SCUBA tank? I have several samll O2 bottles that I don't need anymore that could be pony bottles.
 
If you get valves that fit the tanks (Yoke or DIN), there'd be no reason that you couldn't use the tanks within the limits of their stated pressure.

If it's current in Hydro and you get a VIP, then it should be ok, all other things being equal.
 
We used them and fire extinguisher bottles for years before we could afford tanks designed for scuba use.
