places to dive in minnesota

I just recieved my open water certification in november. I am going to school in Texas but my family lives in Minnesota and I live there during the summer and I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for dive spots in Minnesota keeping in mind I only have my open water certification?

I would contact some local dive shops. If you are near Minneapolis there quite a few. My LDS, Smith Diving in Fridley has several weekly outings in the summer. I'm sure others would too. A quick google should give 10 or so options.

Personally I prefer the Caribbean.

You can always go diving for wild rice.

Now, now Tom. Any Minnesotan knows the rice is above the water. You have to use a special Surface-to-Air spear gun to harvest it.
