I admin 30,000+ RedHat Linux machines. Most of them are still stuck on RH7.2 but we've got around 5,000 or so RHEL3 machines and several hundred RHEL4 ones. Also starting to get x86-64 native 64-bit distros on some of the machines now.

7.2 was a good distro (sigh). Maybe you should take over the name?

Well, you always want what you don't have.... 30,000 machines is a bit of an overload and I'm a little tired of RedHat and would prefer a bit of FreeBSD...

I'm also not much of a "...Mama"...

Going to the Devil Lamont? FreeBSD used to give me so much trouble with video cards. But you are the maestro.

FreeBSD has generally gotten lots better with H/W support...
