PNG help needed

I have just been reading the queens honer list for 04 and see Max the owner of Walindi, Stardancer and FeBrina was awarded the OBE for his work in tourism. He must be doing something right

I agree with the other comments: stay out of Port Moresby, especially after dark and avoid travel without local escorts.

A good gated hotel is how we managed this--the Airways, but others sound promising.

Trip i did we had a day spare in PNG and had a friend of a friend living in Port moresby, so contacted him to see if we could stay there or whther we should stay an extra night out in Kavieng. His reply was your welcome but, my house is surronded by 6 foot high fences and razor wire, a pack of dogs patrols the yard after dark and he has an armed escourt to accompany him, nice place.
