Does anyone remember polartec exposure suits from the mid 90's? Are they still available? If so, what manufactorers deal with them? I'm trying to find them.

They were essentially fleece lines skins that were neutrally bouyant, as warm as a 2-3mm suit and actually kept you warm back on the boat as well

Great wetsuit. I still have one, but it seems to have er, shrunk a size. I would buy another one if I knew where to get it.

I have one myself. As warm as an average 3 mil but no inherent buoyancy. I got mine from a local LDS who had few left in VERY limited sizes. PM me for contact info if you'd like to try him and see if there's any left. I have not been in his shop for a long time now and they may be all gone.

Just looked- mine is made by Aquatic Systems out of Hallandale Florida And they are still around! Now called WetWear here is the website

225 for the polartech! Wow I paid 99 bucks for mine but that was a closeout and I was DM ing for him at the time.

Fourth Element uses Polartec for the thermocline product line:

most dealers only carry the drysuit undergarments, but if you are interested in finding a dealer with stock of thermocline, call Michele on 603.447.496

Hope this helps
