Port Question

I am about to buy the new Nikon 85mm Micro lens :

Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR Lens 2190 - B&H

Can you tell me what port if any to use for this.I am shooting a Nikon D 300.

The maximum lens diameter posted online for this lens would suggest that it is usable in our port system. However we are unable to confirm port recommendations on lenses we cannot physically measure. If you are able to physically measure the fully extended length of the lens you can use the specifications on the following page to find the correct flat port:

I have that lens with my D90 and used a #5505 port. 4.5 " Maybe Ikelite can add the info to their lens/port chart.
