Portland/Vancouver area rental equipment

My wife and I are working toward purhasing our own equipment but currently we are relying on rentals for the majority of our gear. I was hoping to get advice on shops with which any of you have had good rental experiences. We visited a shop in Milwaukie which had trash gear for rentals, we'll never rent from them.

Try Seven Seas Scuba in Vancouver. they have a lot of newer gear for rent and the shop is run by a bunch of great guys!

Under Water Works in Tigard has very good rental gear. They replace it every year so you won't get old beat up stuff. Dave is also the best equipment tech in town so you know it will be in good repair.

I agree with Scottri. When I started out, I rented gear from Underwater Works and was happy with the service and equipment.

I also like Aquatic Sports in Tigard.......have become great friends with the staff...give them a try!
