Hey Blades, welcome to this site!

Did you guys head to DEMA this year?

I just put in a training request for it. I have plenty of FFM so it will be cheaper on the department.

Keeping the fingers crossed.

Cuss, Cuss, Swear-A-Bunch. My request was shot down.

Two reasons:
First was I didn’t submit an “Itinerary” with my request. That’s proof the Admin doesn’t read anything because there was a 4 pager attached. A BS excuse.

Second: We just lost three more Deputies. One to a Military call-up, one to an injury and one to another department. We are just short handed and the timing is wrong due to others being gone. If I leave we would be below shift minimums. That one’s legit. We were down 9 and now we are down by 12 which is a third of the division.

Still sucks.
