Raja Ampat around Sorong?

Hive mind:

I have a liveaboard booked Dec 13-26 from and return Sorong. Is there any point staying locally for resort diving for a few days? Not looking for flash.

There is no diving in Sorong, would need to head back to Raja for a resort that offers dives. Can get the local fast ferry to Waisai and choose a resort in the Dampier Strait, but will most likely dive the same sites as your liveaboard if its concentrating on the Dampier Strait area
