This would make an awesome dive. It's on the opposite side of Pace bend park. Vis would not be all that great even in good times.

This is one of the best parts about Travis low levels. This awesome sandy beach appears. Sand just like the beach.:D

wow.......drought??? Man if so how long has it been going on???? And why would you not move your boat before it is high & dry???
 
i was hoping with all the rain texas had recieved in the last two weeks that it wouldve atleast risen a couple feet.

hopefully it will be a rainy fall

The drought has been going on for 2 years now. As far as moving the boats, I'm sure alot of people just decide that they are not going to use them until the water is back up, and there are only so many places you can move them to.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing them.

I've been meaning to get out there with a friend that has a side scanning sonar to look for other items of interest as well as log some coordinants.
