Rant: Why do so many locals insist on backing into parking spots?

I've been thinking of teaching a merging onto the H1 course as well, any takers? Could we combine our classes?

It'd obviously be much safer, especially for those used to parking backwards, to merge on to highways in reverse so you could see the oncoming traffic better.
