I'll say it's a real dive at those depths.

This is a clip of nat geo dino fish (coelacanth) and these guys are around 115m wearing... you'll see.

Well, what do you expect when the office code clearly says no jeans, no polo shirts. Khakis and long sleeved shirts are the most casual you can be.

Rich made many such dives on O/C before he got a rebreather. He did a great article in aquaCorps in the "MIX" issue and I had the pleasure of making a 190 foot dive with him, off the North Shore of Oahu (using air to get the same equivalent nitrogen depth for the dives that were being planned) using his O/C Deep Reef Rig.

Not bogus. The diver's name is Richard Pyle, famous in diving circles for popularizing deep stops, otherwise known as "Pyle stops." He is a respected marine scientist and occasional contributor here. If you search for his posts (username: deepreef) they make for good reading.
He also dives with a Cis Lunar Mk5.

Whatever the depths and types of dives, these guys have serious experience behind them. What you and I would consider a challenging dive would probably be child's play to them.

During the Nat Geo Dinofish production one of the divers got into some serious problems and prior to that 3 divers have already died trying to catch the coelacanth on video.

These dives are into exploration territory and way beyond most tech training levels. Needless to say do not try any of this yourself and before you comment about the do's and don'ts of these guys/dives etc, these divers have experience levels way beyond what most of us can even dream of.

Terrific video. Obviously no helium for these guys.

Well I've heard Richard talk on the surface and he didn't sound the least bit like Donald Duck

Cool, my namesake.

Did...they edit in a completely fake audio track, complete with radio static?
