Looking for some help from the knowledgable folks out there about light choices. First off, let me say that the majority of my diving is done in tropical areas. I am from Ohio and also do a little bit of diving in local lakes/quarries. Just looking for some advice on a good primary/backup light combination to work for me in the non Tech envoronment, both night and day.
Currently I have looked at the following lights:
DRIS 1K Shorty
Inkova Torch
Sola Gobe/Dive

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

A couple of great lights are the DRIS and the Diverite DGX600. A very good combination although, they are similar in brightness. Both for around $150. A very good price for that brightness, if your budget is less, just get the DGX600, small, great for travel, plenty of light, cheap and if tech ever comes calling you've got a great backup.
