Hey guys, I just became a member here a couple days ago and it seems like a great place. I'm from New York City and have recently found the sport of diving. For the past 3 years I've been constantly prodded by my friend to start diving. He's been diving for a while and is starting to get into tech, so finally i decided to give the sport a try. I just got certified this past weekend at Dutch Springs, Pennsylvania. I was skeptical of how much fun I would have at first since the average temperature at depth was 50 degrees and I had to dive a 7mm. Much to my surprise I didn't mind it at all and am now officially hooked on the sport. I plan to continue on with new certifications and continue to do some cold water dives mainly in Long Island, New York this weekend. Just thought I'd take the time to introduce myself to all of you.

Welcome to Scuba Board!

Feel free to shoot an email or PM if you want to come across the river to DIVE NJ! Be happy to have you join us on Gypsy Blood - running out of Brielle, we're a shorter ride than Dutch Springs.

Always good to try a Search before starting a new thread, tho :search: - click here for Search help, and be careful about posting Threads & Replies before reading the Sticky threads at the tops of most forums. PM me if I can help you around here..
