Red filter advice

I am considering a Sony action cam and am wondering how to add a red filter to the housing and where to get it. Thanks.

Not sure about any external option but you can always put a filter on the sensor inside the housing? Assuming this camera is removable from the housing

yes this was my plan, I just don't know the specifics of it. do I measure the lens and order one? where do I order from? are there different levels or percentages of filtration?

You can buy magic filters $30 per sheet or something like this Rosco #3407 Filter - RoscoSun CTO - 20x24" RS340711 B&H
Generally you need at least a full CTO converter

ok thanks. and I cut it to size? what if it just falls down or something? I'm trying to figure out what full cto converter means also...

means colour temperature orange full means it converts from daylight to 2900K which is fairly red good for bluewater

I put a link to adorama you can try that one, you need to cover the lens completely cutting the sheet to size

No worries let me know how you get on make sure there are no gaps around the port when you cut it
