Has anyone logged a dive at these artifical reefs south of the Cape fear river and north of Myrtle beach. The reefs are relatively shallow from 38' to 90'. Apparently no dive operations go there from what i can find. Just curious because my family goes there a lot for vacation and I find myself doing a lot of business out there. It would be real convenient to have a service call down there and the next morning hit the reef and then back home. Otherwise I have to go to Wilmington or Myrtle beach.

Never been to the artificial reefs out there. I always go to the Megalodon ledge reefs, but you can find out more information about the reefs there on the NC Fisheries site NCDMF Artificial Reefs. When I go down there with my parents dive shop (Aquatic Pleasures Dive Center - Kings Mountain, NC 28086) we usually stop in and talk to David at Cape Fear Dive center in Carolina Beach. He may be able to tell you more about them also. Hope this helps.
