The NiteScuba recently just launched a new high quality diving video light for the underwater photography market.NiteScuba S1. This dive light has a lot of interesting functions that most dive lights never have .So I would like to share the innovation point for you guys.

NiteScuba S1 has a compact and light weight design .It only have 235g underwater with battery inside. High quality metal CNC process, Hard anodizing housing ,making it the high end diving flahslight.

Most of the diving flashlight in the current market competing with high lumen, more waterproof depth . more longer burn time. But they all ingore the higher CRI (Color Rendering Index). NiteScuba S1 use the CRI 90 COB LED as the main lighting source. And let's see what's the difference between LOW/HIGH CRI LED performs when you shooting a photo.

As you can see the high CRI get a more colorful pic. more attractive than the lower CRI.So the high CRI is KEY to a underwater light source. And You know why these lower CRI working poorly?

For a photographer . The Sun Light is the perfect light source because it covers a long period of wavelength from around 320-700nm, And when you shooting a subject ,The light reflects back to the CCD or COMS.The sun light has a CRI at 100.So .The higher CRI, The higher capability to restore true colors.

The Next creative point is NiteScuba S1 adapt Standard 52mm Camera lens screw thread on it's head part,Allows to suitable with any 52mm color lens ,which is very easy to get on the market,Brings to underwater photographer more creative way and different style of photo.

As the micro photography becomes more and more popular ,and easy to learn for the beginner.NiteScuba Have developed a perfect Snoot work for the S1 dive light,Through flexable tube, A beam of light via the built in Optical Fiber(5mm diameter) transmit to the end of the flex tube, and ended on your shooting subject,Coming with 8mm and 12mm apature for different subject. The flex tube length is 30cm.

The other strange thing happens to the ligihting industry is when you ask how much lumen the light is .Most answer you get is the specific number.
like 2000lumen,5000lumen and 10000lumen .But honestly . Lumen will decline when the power decreased,Some dive light are bright at the first 5 minutes and then becomes poor and poor on brightness. And we know not all factory are honest on the lumen .So we offers a GRAPH, A graph which shows every minutes of the brightness, and test it seriously. At least we want to let our clients know the lumen is not a specific number, its just a graph.
