I spent a week diving Roatan's less crowded/popular North/East end last August. While they didn't seem to have the same diversity that Cozumel had, or the larger creatures Belize had it did have a few unique and interesting things (wrecks, dolphins, lionfish hunting) one of which were quite large and long swim-throughs. I did do a few small ones in Coz but nothing like these.
We stayed at Turquoise Bay and dove with Subway Watersports. There was only 1 other couple diving with us throughout the week and a few guys who were living on the island doing their divemaster programs, came along once in a while. Basically all of our diving was small 5-6 person groups and almost no other boats diving this area of the island.
(PS: sorry about the quality, damn sealife)
Dolphin's Den:
Inside this one (which is the longest and darkest, we came across a feeding crab, a green moray, and tons of tiny fish (silversides and baitfish i think?)
