Has anyone tried these? I just baught a 4 foot aluminum track and 4 brackets (4 tanks capacity) to mount on the side of my truck and am thinking about putting two white 4-foot PVC tracks with 8 brackets (8 tanks) on my boat. Do they hold well? Do they last?

Thanks!

I saw those. They look good. Can't wait for a first hand report.

Hi, I have had them on my charter boat for 3 years now without a problem. They hold great and I added bungee cords to hold the top of the tanks. Please log onto my web site and click on the dive boat pictures page to see them on action.

I've had them on my Boston Whaler for six and a half
years, probably 500 days on the water. No problems,
except that the ones on the front of the console will
occasionally spit their tank out on a really hard bump.
A bungie cures that but I rarely bother.

But I'd use Aluminum rather than PVC. The Al is stronger,
and the PVC is 20", not 4' like the Al.

Be sure to get the adjustable clips.

There's some pictures and discussion of my installation at

There are some accessories that are handy too.
