I'm a Fish!
I use to use a float - inner-tube type when practicing skills and doing weight checks. I also use it on easy entry sites to store my camera.

I don't recall what type of rope or cord I use to use. I do remember it being a pain in the butt to use and recover.

Any recommendations? I have both the float and a "T" type screw in sand anchor.

TIA

polypropelene rope is what most floats that I have seen or used employ

Paracord works great if you're in a position to have a huge supply. I use PC for pretty much everything, so why not diving as well?
