Adobe doesn't yet support the S95 RAW files but a work around is to use the supplied Canon software to open the images and then save them to TIFF.
Unfortunately that also bloats them to 50-70 meg.
Another work around until Adobe releases a new version of ARC that supports new models is to use an exif editor such as EXIF TOOLs to edit the metadata of the file.
Simply changing the metadata tag : Canon Model ID = PowerShot S90 allows the file to be read by Photoshop and Lightroom.
You can even leave the metadata tag : Camera model name = Canon PowerShot S95 and your camera will be correctly identified as a Canon S95 in the Metadata panel of Lightroom.
