I agree with everyone else. Minimum of 7 mm, hood, booties, gloves. Getting cold is certainly no fun and can be serious.

Yeah....I love it when they say, the water is 68 degrees today....um, yeah, until you hit that 2nd thermocline in the canyon at 50 feet....Dry suit or 7MM....nothing less

I always wear my 7mm and frequently see other divers wearing Dry Suits. The water is cold, and we do have rough rocky entries and exits where your wetsuit can and will prevent a lot of skin abrasion.
