Great river dive today. Vis at the Lake (Clarks Hill/Thurmond) is poor as the lake is turning, but the river is very clear. We dove N. Augusta Boat Landing today. We had 15'+ vis, maybe even 20' in spots. Lots of fish life- Huge school of bass, many turtles, carp, and other stuff. Water temp is 60 degrees. N. Augusta is a little shallower than our other river dives with a max depth of 16'. It is in the fall line of the river. The bottom has boulders and sheets of rock, toppled trees/logs extend out into the water near the shoreline creating an interesting dive. Current was mild. We are diving it again tomorrow at 1p. The river should stay clear as long as there is no significant rain.
