Saving settings on C5050?

Can someone tell me how to store my settings on the C5050? I want to take pictures in SHQ resolution, but whenever I turn off the camera, it defaults back to HQ.

Maybe this is in the manual, but I didnt see it.

You can save settings in your "My Mode" functions, up to 4, I believe. But I think SHQ is not one of those that can be saved... someone will jump in here and tell you soon!

It's on page 164 of the manual.

Mode Menu>setup>all reset>on or off
If it's set to ON the camera goes back to factory settings. Set to OFF it will save the current settings.

Yes, that was it. Mine was set to "ON" and that was the problem. Thanks.

Another thing.....don't leave the batteries out of the camera or all setting will revert back to factory default. The manual says you can leave them out 2 hours but I don't take any chances...had to learn the hard way!
