Just wanted to say Hi as I have just registered.
I am currently working in the Philippines with my boyfriend..He is the in house instructor and I am the dive centre manager/ gofer/ rescue diver

Well after much encouragement from him that I am ready to start my Dm training, after spending most of the past 4 months performing part of the role anyway..I am giving it a bash and have my pack....

It sure does look daunting but I have the added benefit of on tap instruction (under certain conditions of course:wink:
and being in an environment where I get to dive most days and have regular contact with students and all levels of divers...

Welcome! I am a newbie to Scubaboard too! Good luck with your training! I am close to finally finishing:wink:

Hey there!
Well as you may see I'm fairly new to this board, too. I think you will not regret starting your DM. The moment I finished it I just felt more comfortable again diving and assisting people when they needed something. So good luck and have fun during you DMT-time :)

Welcome to the club! Having only been a Scubaboard member for a month now, I will say that these forums, and members, are some of the most informative around. Any question you have, big or small, will be treated with respect and will be answered by people who truly care. Have a look around, and enjoy!

Thanks all..xx
