Heading out this weekend scalloping for the first time from our house in Port Richey.

However, we're south of the Hernando/Pasco County line and plan to either motor north or trailor the boat north.

What are your suggestions? Motor north (and dropping the harvest with our friends north of the line) or trailor?
And can anyone tell me exactly where the southern border of scalloping region is (lat/lon). Need to know when we cross the line in the boat.
And if your suggestion is to trailer the boat north, where is the best place to launch? Port Richey channel screenshot.jpg

Anything south of the Aripeka channel would be considered Pasco County. I would just trailer north. Depending on size of boat Jenkins creek would be the best route as only smaller boats can launch there if not then it would be Hernando Beach ramp or Bayport.
