As I say, if you measure the hole and leave a good inch and a half either side I'll happily send you some for free.

the hole is 0.4 inch or 10mm
i guess i would need about 2 inch cylinder nylon material?

Yes, definitely an old CO2 cartridge mechanism that has been removed and the stem left in place. It is best to remove it all together and I think Steveharriss came up with a wonderful solution. If you simply must have a CO2 cartridge (I see no reason why) I may have a few new old stock devices for sale/trade.....but again, I would go with Steve's offer.
