You can take a nice photo of it as you fly over. .

Oh I wish!!!!

Such a long trip, I will be stopping 2x in the US on my way to Bonaire during my 3 legs of flights. I will be ready to shore dive upon arrival though!!!

Big report on local news about the flu spreading rapidly. Hope we all get through the airports without catching it. Cindy is still on meds for the remnants of bronchitis, but she doesn't have the flu. Don't freak of you see her wearing a mask. Doctor said a mask and lots of hand disinfection was good for everyone.

Yeah I work in health care..bunch of sickies all around me, including the office staff.

My new fragrance is alcohol hand gel  followed by frequent soap and water wash--way better than hand gel as it removes germies from your body. :soapbox: Please don't just gel, wash up too! Ok off the box.

My new drink is emergen-c :D (personally I think it's a bunch of hogwash but it can't hurt right??)

So far so good.

I wish you all well, and soon...happy diving!

I've upped my daily medicinal intake of alcohol by one beer. Prophylactic application of nature's germ fighter. :)

Yeah, good advice Dr. Insta-Gator.

I am going to go make a prophylactic Wild Turkey Manhattan, Up! That will cure what is trying to ail me!

I am flying UA. Bad things like disease, beat downs, and losing ones seat to a stuck-up politician don't happen on UA...oh wait, it does. :poke:

 my first UA flight....sheesh and I'm on a red eye.

Hi Dizzi,

Are you and Bill flying to O'Hare or Bush?

When I lived in California, I never enjoyed the red-eye. Come to think of it, I did not like the red eye from Hawaii to the mainland either.

However, you could be like us and very worried about the freezing rain turning to snow Friday night here in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. Last year we had to scramble and bug-out a day early, divert to O'Hare, and then catch a flight to Cozumel from O'Hare the next day. At CVG we had ice on the wings and windows before they de-iced the AC. A short time after we left, CVG was shut down for about 15 hours because of freezing rain.

Red eyes from California aren't so bad after all.

If the weather cooperates, we will see you and Bill in Bonaire.

PS: Cathy and I really like UA. They have been good to us. Our bags fly free, and we get preferential boarding.
