Just wondering...is this a good trip for a non diver to go on? It sounds like a great dive trip for a diver but wondering if my significant other would get extremely bored because she doesn't dive?
Larry that is a tough question to answer.
If the non diver loves to lounge around, go to the pool & spa.
There are multiple excursions offed at each resort. Go here
Atlantis Puerto Galera Resort - Atlantis Dive Resorts and Liveaboard Philippines
then rollover the resort tab and you can see the tours offered. Last time most of the crew did this excursion at Puerto Galera during off gas time

Tamaraw Falls and Tukuran or Hidden Paradise

and at Dumagete we did this.

Daytrip to Oslob Whale Sharks

Next issue I do not know yet if will we have other non divers attending. We did have 2 non divers last time and they seemed to have a good time. The resort staff goes with guests on all tours.
Maybe post here asking here if there any other non divers planning to attend. I hope this this helps.

There are some things for non divers, but I don't think as many non divers go due to cost and length. At least that is why my wife doesn't do these.

Too rich for my blood...I can put this package together for less than half this cost but not at Atlantis Resorts.
Atlantis has been around for many many yrs and divers ARE willing to pay for it.
I did not realize that there is not even one single up market place to stay on Kata Beach!
Diving at Dumaguete/PG are far better than any diving from Phuket.

I’m sorry, maybe a really stupid question. When I call on Monday, does the plus symbol (+) mean that I dial a zero (0)? +63 917 562 0293.
Simple steps to calling the Philippines from the USA
  1. Dial 011 - the US exit code.
  2. Dial 63 - the Philippines country code.
  3. Then the area code - 1-4 digits.
  4. And finally the phone number - 5-7 digits.
So from the US 011 63 917 562 0293

Or you can use the chat feature on their website ( bottom right corner)

They will 4 agents ready at 8 am EST ( 2 phone & 2 Chat )

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

I'm thinking about this trip, and thinking about adding on a week or so, either before or after it. Not to dive, just to kinda check out the Philippines in general. Any advice on what to do, or what or see? And, it would be kind of nice to downsize my luggage to just a backpack with essentials. Any advice for how to not have to lug around my dive gear while I'm doing this?

Public transport is slow and infrastructure is poor. So please give yourself plenty of time to travel.

My Bad I forgot that we have 2 phone numbers for signup day.
I have added to my previous post and again here.
