Thank you all for your generosity, a wee tear. It's so heart warming to know that there are some really really good people willing to help out a virtual stranger. It's all a bit sh.t right now but the help, kind words and generosity from so many on SB has been my light, it gets pretty dark sometimes.

Take care everyone.

Warmest regards
Simon

The reg is ready to send on its way. At the buyer's requested cracking effort, the tremendous stability of this old beauty is seen in this Dynamic Flow Test here:
In slow motion, we take this reg from valve opening at 1.2" all the way to 14 SCFM (400 liters per minute) without crossover into freeflow, and with no increase in breathing effort. You can see why I love this regulator!
Stats: Static cracking at 1.2" by request. Static IP (Mk 25 EVO) 136 psi at tank pressure of 2000 psi. Dynamic IP at 8 SCFM, 128 psi. Min dynamic resistance, 0.2" at 14+ SCFM - likely headed for crossover at 15+ SCFM.
Venturi tuned two clicks left of center. Could probably have maintained slightly higher effort through 15+ SCFM with one more click. Similarly, a lower static cracking effort might have required just one or two more clicks on the Venturi collar. So stable!

Friday morning what a nice surprise... Looks close to new. Also received spare parts.

Thank you Rob
