I have two very nice Scubapro MK3 first stages
Fresh rebuild yesterday. Both regs function perfectly.
You don't find a lot of these anymore, I was surprised to find two of them in my reg box.
Own a piece of history for only $50 each or two for $75 shipped in the CONUS.

Is that the predecessor to the MK3 - MK2?
I don't know the lineage, but I would assume so. It is a very simple unbalanced piston with two LP and one HP port.

I think it is.
Kinda weird how they went from MK1 to MK3 to MK2?
I would have thought 1-2-3
You know... If you bought one, you could mount it in a nice shadow box on the wall and show it off to all your friends. You could be the king of the world if you only had one of these.
Or buy two, they are quite small and would make an excellent stocking stuffer.

For 1962 & 1963 Scubapro sold only one first stage, the "J".
Then the MK I, MK II, & MK III were all introduced in 1964.
The MK I was the "premium" option, MK II was mid range, and MK III for the budget crowd.

MK I was the first balanced flow tru piston design sold by Scubapro, followed by the MK V a couple years later.

Then this is apparently not a mk1. It is not balanced, nor a flow through piston. And it doesn't match your image.
Any ideas?

Looks like MK3 aka “baby MK2”.
