SDI vs others and local dive shop in Gastonia, NC

Hey, I'm sure this question has been asked on here a million times but I couldn't find any posts using the search feature. Can someone give a brief overview of the pros and cons of SDI vs the other agencies?

Also, we've signed up with Sink or Swim in Gastonia NC. Will we be in good hands??

As far as the instruction goes, it will probably be about the same as you would get for anyone else in the area for a weekend course. It will get you certified to the OW level so you can then start learing how to be a diver. Since I don't think I know them the only thing I can give a qualified comment on is their website. It really doesn't show me anything of value. Just don't rush into, get talked or pressured into buying without looking around and seeing what is available to you. Have fun and enjoy it.
