Been shooting two S&S YS-D2s with my Sony a6500 and Nauticam housing for about a year with no problems whatsoever. So far, so good...I do not fire them more than once above water (just to make sure the fiber optics are functioning), and I religiously check the O-rings on the battery compartment. Like I said, so far, so good.

Guess I jinxed myself. Diving in Croatia and one of my S&S YS-D2s flooded via the unused sync port. S&S refused to repair/replace it even though that port had not been touched from the factory (maybe that was my problem), so eventually I gave up with them and bought two INON Z-330s. Haven't shot them underwater yet, but above water they seemed much brighter than the YS-D2s. Big trip coming up to Wakatobi to really test them out. ;-)
