Rick Rogers, author of Shipwrecks of Hawaii will be speaking at the Sea Lancers' Clubhouse on Hickam AFB on May 17th at 7pm.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Rick, he has been researching the shipwrecks of the Sandwich Islands (that's Hawaii for those who are not sure
), for well over 20 years. Although you would have to ask him more about it, he may have discovered a Spanish Galleon of the Big Island that pre-dates Captain Cook's discovery of Hawaii. Talk about re-writing some history books...
