Answered: Search Subforums

I was trying to search in one of the classified subforums today and saw that the "search this forum" option has been removed outside of the "Advanced search" function. Can you guys put this back? So much easier than going into advanced search, scrolling through the myriad of sub-forums to find what you're looking for, and then searching. This combined with the forum defaulting to "relevance" instead of "recent" for the search is very annoying and a huge step back from the last software

Sorry that you find this to be a step backwards.

It's an advanced search option. Use the advanced search feature.

I've set the default search option to recent.

thanks for making that adjustment Howard. It's more just a feature that this software doesn't seem to have compared to the old one that is incredibly useful especially in the classifieds

I know how to use the advanced search function, but the previous software had the drop down where the "post new thread" button is in the subforums to search that forum which was infinitely more convenient than having to go into the advanced search function to search a subforum. Sounds like it isn't going to happen on this new software, but thanks for the heads up
