I had an X1 as a primary and a Hollis nitrox computer in gauge mode with tables as a backup. As I was on the boat suiting up for a 230' dive, I found my backup computer had flooded on the previous dive. Rather than replacing the backup computer with another el cheapo, I found a great deal on a second X1.

My primary is a Shearwater Predator and I use a simple bottom timer and cut tables for a backup.

A Heinrichs-Weikamp as primary and a D6 as a backup (in gauge mode along with tables when tec diving).

Vytec and HelO2 plus I wear a watch and if using Trimix have the VPM calculations on a slate. Square profile Nitrox / air NDL dives in my head.

I have the Aeris A300 AI for my primary. I carry a backup analog air gauge and a Citizen Dive Watch that has a built-in depth gauge.

Petrel as primary and Predator as backup.

Two Petrels plus a dive watch/tables/depth gauge for OC, now a SA Petrel plus dive watch/tables/depth gauge backing up the Predator controller on my rEvo.

I use a SW Petrel primary with a xDeep Black in gauge mode + tables as backup.

Nitek X and an Oceanic wrist-mounted compute set to gauge mode. I also cut tables for deco dives and go with whatever is most conservative.
