Does anyone have any statistical information on shark attacks on divers specifically?

I'm curious how many divers have been attacked, bitten and/or killed from sharks.

???????

I think equally important are the statistics of human attacks on sharks!

There is an International Shark Attack File website (am Internet search should yield the URL) that gives such statistics.

I have dived with sharks in many areas of the world without incident. They are beautiful and graceful creatures. Of course this is not to romanticize that they can't be dangerous. I had an unnerving encounter with a 22 foot tiger shark while kayaking in the Sea of Cortez.

Those I know here on Catalina who have had encounters with great whites have indicated they were curious but not aggressive. I've never seen one and probably won't since I carry my video camera on every dive.
